Shepherdsville, KY Stayed 1/1/20. This park has a good number of amenities and although we only stayed one night we were impressed with the facilities. Its location is not only near Louisville but also near several distilleries on the bourbon trail. The after hours check in process was easy. Twin Knobs Campground
Morehead, Kentucky Stayed here 3/27/19. The campsites are developed and include fire pit and picnic table. We were very impressed by the quality of our site pad and the number of amenities at this campground. We chose a primitive site and were very happy with our stay. Ashland/ Huntington West KOA
Argillite, KY Stayed 2/12/19. This campground is a short ways off the highway but far enough away that it is quiet. All of the sites are full hookup through they do have the option for pull through or back in. The park is well maintained and the staff is friendly.
