Twin Knobs Campground

Morehead, Kentucky Stayed here 3/27/19.  The campsites are developed and include fire pit and picnic table.  We were very impressed by the quality of our site pad and the number of amenities at this campground.  We chose a primitive site and were very happy with our stay.  We would stay here again in the future. Sandy Channel State Park

Elm Creek, Nebraska Stayed 5/8/17.  One of our favorite places we have stayed.  We talk about our stay here often.  When we stayed we were the only campers.   We found large and level spots where the road forks to the left.  Our spot was on the water.  Easy access on/off the highway as well as clean and quiet.  Great overnight!  We would gladlyContinue reading “Sandy Channel State Park”

Cimmeron State Park – Tolby Campground

Ute Park, New Mexico  Stayed 5/4/17 – 5/7/17.  When we stayed this campground had fewer campers than the other two campgrounds in the area.  It was located along a creek, beautiful, quiet, and clean.  We were there on opening weekend and it was just the camp host and us. Cantil, California  Stayed 5/1/17.  This campground has developed sites with picnic tables and fire pits.  Our site backed up to a rock formation that was pretty cool to check out.  There were pit toilets available.  There is a 30ft maximum length limit.  It was a beautiful campground.  We would gladly stay again. Lake Shore East Campground

Lakehead, California Stayed 4/26/16.  This campground was a little tight to get into and when we came across some low hanging tree branches we had to back out.  We were able to get into one of the spots on the left, which have views of the lake.  The campground was quiet as we were the only ones there.  WeContinue reading “Lake Shore East Campground”
