Louisville South KOA
Shepherdsville, KY Stayed 1/1/20. This park has a good number of amenities and although we only stayed one night we were impressed with the facilities. Its location is not only near Louisville but also near several distilleries on the bourbon trail. The after hours check in process was easy. Moab, Utah Stayed here 10/23/19 – 10/26/19. We have also stayed here in the summer for two nights at a time. It is located on state sovereign land and has a 14 day stay limit. Goosenecks State Park
Mexican Hat, Utah Stayed 4/6/19 – 4/8/19. Wonderful view. Camping on the edge of the canyon. There are eight designated sites along the canyon rim with fire pits and picnic tables. Twin Knobs Campground
Morehead, Kentucky Stayed here 3/27/19. The campsites are developed and include fire pit and picnic table. We were very impressed by the quality of our site pad and the number of amenities at this campground. We chose a primitive site and were very happy with our stay. Chestnut Ridge Regional Park
Bruceton Mills, West Virginia Stayed here 12/31/19, 3/26/19. This campground is easy to get to to on/ off the highway. It is open year round and there is opportunity for outdoor activities all year. The RV sites are equipped with water and 30amp electrical connections. Ashland/ Huntington West KOA
Argillite, KY Stayed 2/12/19. This campground is a short ways off the highway but far enough away that it is quiet. All of the sites are full hookup through they do have the option for pull through or back in. The park is well maintained and the staff is friendly.
